Great gardens. Mixture of open spaces , rose gardens, an arbouritum, , a sort of maze ( called mis maze ) a lake and some ponds. Was hot on the day we visited, so the benches under the shade of the trees was quite welcoming. Stopped for a bite to eat and a cuppa , which was nice. Also lots of places to have a picnic
And on the way out they had a few shelves full of plants. Wasn't too busy as we went on Sunday and plenty of parking.
For lovers of gardens I would recommend.
The most beautiful gardens. Quite a steep climb up to the arboretum but we'll worth it. Rose garden, cottage garden, rockery and the most beautiful lake and smaller ponds.
Lovely tea room which was very reasonably priced.
We visited Mount Ephraim Gardens simply because the place was quite close to where we were staying, and we were not disappointed. It is a charming, quiet, intimate garden with some Japanese elements, a rock/water garden, an arboretum, a mizmaze, a rose and a topiary garden with a lovely little tearoom. The terraced gardens are beautifully set on a hillside with lovely views over the quintessentially English countryside.
Absolutely stunning place to stay. Staff were above and beyond helpful and welcoming. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while, so I highly recommend adding to your booking. Stunning gardens and period property 👌 will be booking again. …
Magnificent gardens with a distinctly oriental feel. It's a relaxing way to spend half a day wandering around the trail past ponds, waterfalls, rock gardens and a large arboretum.
The colourful grasses and perennials that form the Miz Maze are particularly enchanting.
If you like gardens and a cup of tea, this is a great experience for you. The tour will probably take few hours, depending on how fast you're walking. Friendly staff, tea room and ample parking space will be making your visit more pleasant.
This lovely Edwardian Garden is nestled amongst the Kent countryside and has magnificent rose gardens, topiary hedges and magical oriental pools. It is well worth the £8 entry fee. There is a wonderful eco Miz Maze you can wander around at your leisure without getting too lost. It was a lovely day out for the family. If you have small children be careful as there is a beautiful large lake and arboretum. The tea room serves up hot and cold beverages and cakes and snacks and delicious cream teas😋 You must visit you won't be sorry.🤗
Loved it! Beautiful place with lots to see. It's £7pp, which is worth to pay. Place looked after, has toilets and restaurant. Walking through the woods, maze or rose garden. Lady at the entrence was so informative and kind. Had some delicious cherries to sell too!
Overall you can spend couple of hours walking and exploring and it is well worth a visit!
